How did you get started in real estate?
I began my career in 2004 as a Title and Escrow Coordinator at Fidelity National Title. I found I was a great match for the field and pretty soon I was closing over 300 properties a month in the builders division. My time there was invaluable, a truly exceptional experience and was a great beginning to my career. I’ve since had the opportunity to work and collaborate with many well-known and knowledgeable attorneys, home builders, title and escrow officers, banks and real estate agents … relationships I greatly value and benefit from.
What do you enjoy most about the field?
I get great satisfaction out of being able to put my energy into helping people make the best decisions with their real estate investments. I believe there is no place like home, and the ability to provide for your family and future through cash-flowing and appreciating investments is priceless. It’s the driving force that enables me to grow and excel in my chosen profession.
What are some of your greatest strengths?
I’m known for my dedicated work ethic, ability to close deals, and I’m highly respected by my colleagues, which is a true benefit to clients when closing competitive deals. I’m exceedingly skilled in the art of negotiation, which is crucial in today’s ever-changing and challenging market. I can bridge differences that might otherwise prevent transactions from occurring. My clients will receive nothing but my best – my utmost professionalism as well as compassion and sensitivity, which are vital to many facets of the process.
What do you deem most important when working with new clients? What do you hope they walk away with having worked with you?
Enthusiasm and intellect, definitely. Knowing the local – or “neighborhood” – markets and how they are doing day-to-day, understanding the client’s needs, and communicating with them throughout the transaction, ultimately leading them to a successful and happy closing. I try to educate them so they can make the right decisions for them. For my part, I stay on top of the current market and regularly follow up with local agents, creating a sheet of what properties have been sold recently in that area.
Many escrows that fall through do so because things get missed. It’s imperative to keep a close watch on it every step of the way – and I always do to my fullest ability. I want my clients to walk away satisfied, smiling, and in their dream home and, if should need my services again, would opt for me as their agent.
